The numbers of November

So sorry to all 3 very loyal viewers that it has been so very long since a post. Life has been a bit crazy to say the least. Not terrible, but just busy. November was a tough month. Lots of challenges and "adventures" (that's what I choose to call them). And to keep it catchy and interesting they all rotate around fun little numbers.
To start off, Jarrett and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary. My sister-in-law came in to stay with the girls so we could get away for a day. Started off well but by the middle of the night Jarrett was in the E.R. with a terrible migraine....
Three days later I was sick and thought I had a little flu bug and the morning after that I woke up unable to swallow - strep throat. Luckily, the girls didn't come down with anything and Jarrett got antibiotics in time.
Samson went to the vet and had 3 teeth pulled, I won't share the price, it was painful!
My birthday rolled around as it usually does that month. It was the 5th anniversary of my 30th, 1/2 way point of my third decade of life. Wow. Its not old at all, but for a minute, when its your birthday, you can't help but dwell on it - but just for a minute. I did do quite a bit of grateful reflecting on all that God has done in my life and allowed in my life. So overwhelmed.
That afternoon Jarrett left for a mission trip to the Amazon with about 40 something singles from our church. Gone 10 days. Even though I had the whole bed to myself and no one was snoring (Samson is little so he doesn't really count), I didn't sleep well at all. I woke up multiple times and always earlier than my alarm - every night. Very odd for me. It was a long, long 10 days for me and the girls. 5 days solo and 5 with family over to help out.
We combined families for the 1st holiday ever. Much to everyone's relief I only cooked my breakfast casserole the day after. My mother-in-law is the master at the rest. This was also the first Thanksgiving that I did not take a huge nap before the cowboy game. I also noticed I didn't have that great of an appetite either.
Went shopping on black Friday for the 1st time ever. And I was not feeling too great all morning. The next day I woke up - Round two of strep! Could not believe it. And this was the day before Jarrett was returning so he was welcomed at the airport with a big hug and a high five!
I think this summarizes our November. I was so glad December arrived.
Kelsey and Riley are doing swell. Kelsey started clapping, doing "so big" and walking behind any toy she can push....

Here is me and Riley having cupcakes for my birthday - they are turkeys (from Celebrity bakery). Very large turkeys made of icing sitting on yummy chocolate cupcakes. Can you guess who picked them out?
