Here we are at the Fall Festival at our church. Riley as Tinkerbell and Kelsey as a peacock. Riley could not wait. Pridefully, I upgraded her wings. The ones that came with the costume were nice, but too small for my super Tinkerbell. It was hard for Riley to walk thru doorways, but she sure stood out from the other 150 Tinkerbells there that night. We had to hide her costume until that afternoon....I am hoping others with toddlers can chime in that they get that wound up about their costume. It is the Monday after and Tinkerbell has been worn in our house twice since. Sometimes over clothes. Kelsey wasn't too fired up about having things on her head or feet, so I started building up her tolerance a few days before. And as long as she had her paci or some puffs to eat she didnt care who or what was on her head!
And they're off!!! 1st stop, food - of course!
Daddy, I want one of these for Christmas! Why
does it smell so funny? (note: these are the smaller,
original wings - we were afraid the big ones
would freak out the livestock)
Tink loves her Daddy!
On the train with Taylor. Hard to see, but they
are in the middle...
Giddy up cowgirl Taylor! We just love that they
hold hands on their own. So cute.
Puffs please or costume off. Kelsey did relatively
well. She never cried or pulled anything but her
right footie off every 20 minutes. She was a
trooper and a darn cute peacock.
Wheeeee! Tink down the elephant slide.
Daddy and Tink in the bounce house.
Note to self, take family picture at the beginning.
We were all pooped, but had a wonderful time!
A few days before Halloween I took the girls to a little pumpkin patch in Richardson - where Riley had her first pumpking pictures taken. For some reason we just didn't make it over to my favorite patch in Frisco where we have gone for the last 2 years and taken some great pictures with Riley in her costume. I wanted this to be a tradition. Oops.
Oh my goodness, look at all these little pumpkins!
I turned my back for 2 seconds after this picture
and Riley had filled the wagon with little pumpkins.
Man, she is fast.
Sweet Kelsey was so tuckered out, she slept
in her carrier the whole time. She didn't like
the pumpkins at the Arborteum, so she could just
be playing possum to get out of pictures!
Riley's reactions are priceless. She found this
wheel barrow with the tiniest pumpkins in it.
They were just Kelsey's size.

If Kelsey is 'playin possum,' then I know who she learned it from (her mama)! The girls are precious in their costumes. And what a fun carnival that looked like!
